Pedaling with Purpose: Trek 100 Texas
There’s something truly awe-inspiring about watching more than 800 cyclists come together, each with their bikes, helmets, and determination, all united for a cause much bigger than themselves at the very first Trek 100 Texas.
2024 Texas Twister Gravel Challenge
When you’ve lived in Texas long enough, it can be easy to forget that the state has it’s own kind of beautiful landscapes. But what we do have are plains and hills that may not be as stunning as other regions of the US, but make for an incredible backdrop for gravel races.
Spider Mountain Hill Country Downhill Spring Series #2
It wasn’t a huge crowd out at Spider Mountain for the race, but the crowd that did show up came to send it! The weather was perfect, the course for the race was new, and it was great catching up with a few people I hadn’t seen in a while
Tuesday Night Crits 5/14
Shots from the Turbo Velo Tuesday night crits are now live. Felt good to snaping still after a weekend full of video work. This week I was met with clear blue skies and hard light. Getting a little creative with the angles I was able to really get the colors to pop! Really excited with how the shots in this gallery tuned out.
Sugarland Classic
Sunday, May 5th, 2024 2:45AM
After a night that involved the refrigerator in my home almost catching fire at midnight and not nearly enough sleep, at 2:45AM my alarm went off, informing me it was time to make my way to the Sugarland Classic race by TMBRA.
Tuesday Night Crits 4/30
This week, I found myself once again trying to change it up. With most MTB photos I take, it’s all about showing the single rider taking on whatever the trail has to throw at them. With the road events, my favorite pictures to take are ones that show the whole peloton.
I <3 Bike Fest
Another Fort Worth Bike Fest in the books. And to say this year was bigger and better would be a understatement! I had a great day behind the lens seeing so many people have a great day playing with bikes. Better yet, able to capture some pretty stellar images from a lot of the event. Please go check this gallery out and snag some shots of your own.
DFW Spring Series Week 3
After getting rained out last week DFW Series Racing is back at Gateway park once again for some Thursday night fun. This week i took a brake from the trail action shots a bit to instead get some shots of the community that makes this even so much fun.
Turbo Velo Week 3
The 70-200 is back from repair and what better way to get it tested than some crit racing. Check out this gallery from the Turbo Velo Tuesday night crits. The light was amazing and the pan shots were plentiful.
Tuesday Night Crits
Do you know what you get with a wide open crit loop, beautiful sunshine, oh and some of the wonderful golden hour magic mixed in there? A photographer having a lot of fun behind the lens. Go check out this full gallery here and see what I’m talking about for your self.
TMBRA - Cameron Park Blowout!
Made it out to the Texas Mountain Bike Racing Associations Cameron park blow out to capture some of the action this weekend. With the weather dismal. I was met with very low light conditions and a little rain. A.K.A. the perfect time to bust out the speed lights and get some shots with a wireless 2 light setup.
Team Trail Party at Station Mountain
The race maybe over but the pictures are now live. My first visit to station mountain was I will not easily forget. What Rhett and team have accomplished is pretty inspiring for just about anyone to experience. Top that off with a Team Trail party event to kick off the 2024 Texas Chain Cup chase. Well just go check these pictures and you can see for yourself!
Barber Hills Hard Labor
Hard labor was a well suited name for this race. Yet another weekend filled with muddy riding.
Never ridden in the mud? Think sand, but slippery and it stays on your bike making it heavier and harder to pedal. None the less the rider went to battle with the elements, and so did I.
