Tracie & Carson’s Backyard Boho Wedding

A Fort Worth, Texas couple walks down the aisle after saying their vows at a micro wedding in their backyard as their family throw petals and confetti.

When we think about weddings that feel straight out of a dream, Tracie and Carson’s backyard micro wedding is at the top of the list.

When Tracie told us she was DIYing every single detail of their backyard wedding, we were impressed. When we saw what she created? Our jaws hit the grass (softly, of course). Lanterns swayed from branches, an altar bearing a sand ceremony to represent the blending families stood against the fence, and a touching sign honored her father in heaven. Every piece reflected the heart, intention, and artistry Tracie poured into their big day.

Pinterest boards everywhere sighed in admiration.

This purple, boho backyard dream wasn’t just pretty; it was personal. From the smallest twinkling light to the way Tracie and Carson couldn’t stop looking at each other (seriously, it was adorable), everything felt so them. And for us, getting to capture a micro wedding for the first time? It was like stumbling upon a hidden gem.

We first met Tracie and Carson for their free engagement session back in August, and from the get-go, it was obvious: these two are the real deal. The kind of couple that reminds us why we love this job — because love stories like theirs are worth documenting.

Big wedding, tiny wedding, backyard wedding — whatever shape your day takes, we're always up for the ride. And we couldn’t have asked for a better experience than this intimate, joy-filled celebration.

Tracie and Carson, you proved that sometimes a "small" wedding can have the biggest heart. Thanks for letting us be part of your beautifully boho, beautifully you day. 🖤
